I don’t question Harris’s motives. I am sure he meant well it just that his book due to its one sidedness created around as many problems as it might have solved.

Whatever you do, I wouldn’t use Harris’s book as the only opinion or bible on relating/romance. I would read some others to get other viewpoints.

Harris wrote the book as a somewhat testimonial of what worked for him in circumstances, age, and maturity level. Why so many think that because it worked and was appropriate for him that it should be the patter for all really baffles me.

To Steve, I appreciate your comment. Thank you, but my greatest praise I give to the one who truly inspired Harris. It’s God who gave that love to him.

To Ngetha, thanks for your recommendations. I’m looking forward to inspirational books. Thanks for giving me the idea. I suggest you go get a copy of that book.

To everyone, I hope you’ll hang on to this blog. I shall say that my post, I Kissed True Love Hello, is the onset of a real and mature post, and the rest were… I should say, far from a grown-up perspective..hahaha. So I encourage you to start reading with it.

Harris might have some good points in his book but realize he wrote it more like a salesman talking than someone objective. He points out all the defects with dating but doesn’t acknowledge the defects with his aproach. This includes problems that occurred at the church he now pastors long before he wrote this book.

Hi. I havent read that copy of the book, but i would suggest if you can, read Rob Eagar’s “Dating with pure Passion”…i have read it and its really cool.
